I've tried going to the "Tools" icon on the "Menu" toolbar and choosing "History" is not an option. I also went to the green gear icon and went to "Toolbars" and couldn't find it there either. I can access History by selecting "View" then "Explore Bar" and then "History", but I would prefer to have the icon on the Menu Bar.

The History button is now at the top of Favorites. Click the Favorites star and there will be a history tab at the top.

Well in order to get the icon back up, go to tools( the one near your tabs ) >toolbars>history or press Ctrl+Shift+H. As of today, there is no way to do this. I use Mozilla Firefox which is able to do this though.
