Of course he did it for the attention of being on TV. If I was her, I'd be a little pissy because that's $3,000 he could have used to buy bigger ring, put towards the wedding, or the honeymoon or whatever.

Yeah, he's an idiot.

Why do people think that silly, over dramatic displays like that are romantic?

That's just being irresponsible with money. That should be a red flag for her.

Love is strange, and does unexplainable things to people. Looks like he loves her very much and he has more money than sense.

it shows that he's not embarresed of his love for her... now everyone in all the fields got to witness a beautifull thing i always thought that would be awsome but i still am just as happy with the way my man proposed to me!
