Are you canadian? Is this high school or college? Whatever, you know what the word identity means. One would have to be canadian or one who has adopted the canadian culture to answer this. You do know that people all over this world have suddenly found their "identity" as a color, creed, religion, culture, race and sexual orientation and activists are exploiting it to the hilt and that is why all the conflicts, wars and other crap happening is hung up in Political Correctness and politicians and leaders in the "free" societies are paralyzed with fear that they may slight one or more of the hundreds of factions of the above. The primary identity we all shares is as human beings. Males and Females operate on different systems and we males have ours and females have theirs. Beyond that we should all function in the best interest of the human race, not because our ancestors were catholic, black and South African. But activists for their own power, greed and reason to exist exploit it and promise hundreds of minority everything that they will inherit the earth. Bull! Soon, there won't be anything worth living in or under as "identities" separate us all.
Do canadians (as a group) have an identity? If so, how would you define it. That is, what characteristics are present in canadian identity that makes it Canadian? If there is no strong Canadian identity then how would you explain that? I'm Norwegian but I have no identity as a Norwegian. I am an American. Period.
