Often, when you install programs (Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, etc,) they will install the ActiveX controls for you. Other places include websites like Planet Source Code (http://www.pscode.com ) - WARNING:Planet Source Code only has SOURCE CODE for controls - you have to compile them on your own computer before you can use them.

Hi. ActiveX controls are not really a "thing" that you get. The are macro programs. Your browser will either allow or disallow their installation depending on your security setting. Most browsers will alert you that a site is asking to install one. Answer "Yes" if you trust the site.
