we need to install recess light in our main room, the roof is slopping. the electrician suggest eye ball light, as it is not possible to put recess light that gives you straight light. he says if we install regular recess light that will give us inclined light.
we want to have light that comes straight down.
also, the reason for not him putiing straight light is that, if we want that kind of light we should have done it during the constuction of our house.
if anybody has ideas regarding this please let us know.(the main room has slope in 3/4 th area and 1/4th part is double height ceiling)

I recommend taking your electrician's advice. He is the "expert" that is onsite and knows more about your situation.

Juno makes a great can for sloped ceilings. However, their sloped cans that are rated for contact with insulation need to be installed before sheetrock.

They also make a remodel recessed can that can be installed in sloped ceilings after sheetrock is installed, but these cans are not rated to be in contact with your insulation. You need to maintain a minumum clearance of 3" all around the fixture.
