It should not affect the Cabinet
If the President is impeached, it simply means the House found cause for a trial, This is similar to an indictment or a finding for probable cause in the "normal" court system
After the President is impeached, the Senate conducts a trial to see if the President is innocent or guilty.
If a President ever were found guilty, then he would be replaced by the Vice-President who cannot oversee the Senate and cast the deciding vote as is normal in the Senate.

If the President is impeached, the cabinet are technically removed because their position is co-terminus with the President.

The next in line for the President is the Vice President.

If the entire cabinet is impeached, then the Speaker of the House will be next in line for the presidency.

Cheney and each president chooses his advisers, although, they do have to be approved, by I believe congress.( don't quote me on the congress thing}. A new president may choose to keep members of the former presidents cabinet. It is more likely that they would "step down" or in this particular group I would guess they would be "implicated in the impeachment"

Nope it doesn't. Nixon chose Ford when Agnew Resigned and when Nixon was impeached the VP stepped in. They didn't have to chose Ford.
