my sister was running from the law and jumped a stump and had to be towed since then the gears have been hard to shift ,now the dang thang is stuck in reverse anybody know a trick..short of a shotgun?

the clutch is fine, the dang gears is crossed up and hung in reverse you can drive it all day in reverse but the law dont like that too much. heehee

the reason tis stuck in reverse is because they are locked, u need to open the geasr box and put m,ore oil in as well as clean the spokes

Sounds like from hard to shift, it had a double clutch in it, nothing wrong with that just for heavy work. Jumping the stump could bent or damaged the linkage on it, check that first. Low on fluid would not cause it to be stuck in Reverse.

Check your clutch fluid level. You may have a damaged line and leaked the fluid out.
