Spark plug wire can be anywhere from 1500 to 7000 ohms per foot of length. Coax cable (like for TVs, data,etc) is usually specified at 50-75 ohms AC impedance.

As I remember a spark plug wire will measure 3000 ohms per foot.

7000 to 20,000 ohms is normal for an average length wire. The wire is bad if it has infinite resistance (open circuit).
