I don't understand why the networks won't show the commercial, I personally laughed my head off when I first saw it air during the Super Bowl. Just because some people were offended - IT IS TIME TO GET OVER IT!!! If your a gay person and you don't like the commercial - CHANGE THE CHANNEL. I don't like watching programs that have homosexual content so I change the channel. I don't care if someone else wants to watch it - that is their right, but I don't have to. This commercial is funny and many people can relate to it. I am not asking for replies that are offensive, please remember young people do use this site. All I want to know, is why can't this type of commercial air on tv? Thank you

What can we say, we live in a world that is ALWAYS politically correct. It was a great commercial, but some people found it to be over the top, and homophobic. I guess in the Nanny State that is America we aren't allowed to do anything that could be taken slightly offensive.

Because of conservatives. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion.

I can see the humor in it however I was a bit offend. I think a sexual preference and or actions should be left in the privacy of one's home.

Some people (gay) would probably see that in the end when they are grossed about it as "why" it's not a bad thing to be gay. They are right in that sense.

The commercial pushed the envelope. Plain and simple. It was done for shock value.

Tv needs to go back to family values.

The ad was pulled at the request of the GLBT. They felt it was inappropriate, for what reason I am not sure. They talked about it on The View on Monday. If you check it out, there was also alternative endings to the commercial, the manly part.

people are scared of the unknown. they think that the commercial will spark some type of homosexual revolution and the world will not be the same. Maybe that is what we need. I mean you cannot help who you love. So what they kissed each other...I am with you, if you did not like it then turn the channel.

No matter what is shown, someone's going to have a problem with it nowadays so I think they should just live and let live.

I loved the commercial and bought four snickers bars today.

actually... I laughed my head off too!

I'm not a proponent of homosexuallity... I'm straight... sew me...

However, my best friend was gay... and personally... I think he would have found the commercial funny. I don't think it was intolerant... or homophobic. I think we should be accept people for who they are... and some of them are gay... but the fact is that some of them are not... in fact... most of them are not... and I think that two dudes... who are obviously NOT GAY kissing while eating a snickers may be the average norm!

In fact, Snickers should be commended for even introducing the concept to most straight people! I'll guarentee you that their boldness caused most straight people to say, "No way!!!" while most gay people said, " YES!! "

Everyone is looking for an opportunity... straight or gay... give it a break... would you rather have a super bowl to no gay reference what so ever? I know most straight people are saying YES! (and the do exist)... while most gay people are saying NO! (oh yes... and they exist too)... think about it.

Well, I think that most people would be changing the channel whether they were offendend or thought it was just gross. So it would probably be a loss of money for the Snickers company.

The commercial was stupid...but those who are saying it was homophobic...get a life...Apparently you can only crack jokes on straight white men nowadays, well sorry but everyone is fair game if its not done in a hurtful matter, and anyone who cant deal with it, well sorry to hear you are a loser...

The funniest part of your comment was that you said "many people can relate to it." LOL

Are there alot of guys out there who choose to share a snickers bar from either end and meet in the middle?
