Cheney - like most of the Bush administration - are not conservatives!
They are tax & spend neocons, ready & willing to dismantle the Constitution, micromanage citizens' private lifes & lead us into an unnecessary war.

i really doubt if Cheney was ever considered a favourite by anyone except maybe Bush and Rumsfeld... everyone else was afraid of him, and still are.
As for your second question.. a man like that could never be my favourite anything.. perhaps devil, if I was into that worship.. other than that, i am now beginning to agree with others that he is the true evil behind Bush.. and Bush is just the puppet.
