I'm looking for academic or government studies that document the divorce rate among couples that get married AFTER the birth of a child compared to couple who marry before the birth of a child.

I dunno about anyone else but it was a mistake for me to marry after I had my children! I'm now about to get divorced, the pig has more rights than he would otherwise have had over my girls and still he won't pay maintainance!

I really do not know. I tend to think it is because according to statistics divorce rates are higher in couples that have sex before and outside of marriage mores so then couples that wait to have sex in marriage and also second and third marriages have a higher divorce rate as well. I want to learn about this with you.

Cohabiting couples have twice the breakup rate of married couples. Cohabitation leads to higher divorce rates.
No one gives a crap about the kids- the rate is the same with or without kids.

I don't think there is a measurable statistic. It something you will need to look at counseling areas for statistics, but I don't know of a statistic that talks about that specifically.
