Jonathon Woodgate is on loan at Middlesbrough and all signs point that he well move there permanently; or at the very least won't be at Real Madrid anymore.
Obviously there are English players that aren't in the EPL, as there are many teams outside the Premier League in English Football ( I know, I'm a jackass)
Of the players currently on the English National Football team, only one doesn't play in English; Owen Hargreaves. I am sure within the next few months that well change.
As for the players in the U21s, I don't think there is one player in the current squad that isn't playing in England.
There is only one player in the Bundesliga, Hargreaves. An odd player here or there in the Scandanavian Leagues. Probably about 15-20 in the Scottish Premier League. Very few English players are found in top flight teams outside of England.

hmm this is a hard question haha. Well it gets me thinking because really most of the well known english players play in England. The only player that comes right to my mind is David Beckham but I am sure there are a lot of young players playing outside England.

There aren't many. It didn't used to be that way. Mark Huges played at Barcelona, and Kevin Keegan in Germany there are others too.
But with the money available in England...why move?
Beckham moved for fame. And Hargreaves is a Canandian who never played in England.

Did it occur to you that an abundance of English players are not very good? Did it maybe occur to you that no one was referring to the past anyways? So you injecting historical facts is irrelevant? Because clearly I was referring to recent players? Thanks for the TD, can always count on you for it? You don't need to repeat the same thing. I got your first point with "referring to past and present." "There's no need to pout and get angry." Stap projecting.. yet again. Your problems are not my problems. Lmao please, do you think that I care enough to TD you? Paaaaleaze. Nobody is mad. First you assume I am calling you a peasant, than an idiot, than rolling my eyes, now pouting, and supposedly mad. Do you just like to make up images in your head and run from there? I'm simply replying back. If you are the type of person to read things and allow your over-active imagination to run wild, hey be my guest. Denial and Projection op? It's okay. Standard defense mechanisms you are exhibiting, you're not a bad person at all for doing any of this. Oh, so you are admitting that you started this? Great! You technically blew this out of proportion, and I am simply responding back. *You* choose to view my words in a specific manner. But I also never said that you said that I started 'this.'

There are alot of young english players playing in foreign leagues. Often out on loan, i.e. - Young Man U players at Antwerp, also Micheal Ball has been playing abroad for a number of years at PSV, but has just moved back to EPL with Man City!

Funny, a lot of the English fans are always complaining that there should be more English players on their teams. But when you ask people to think about it, it seems that all of the English players that they want are already playing in England!!

Spain are even worse internationally, their record is terrible...but there are lots of Spaniards playing outside of Spain. Likewise, none of Italy's squad are curently playing outside of Italy, and yet they have just won the World Cup...so your argument doesn't really hold water.
