yes yellow blue and purple it got that way after about a day

Anyone who has ever had a black bruise, has a multi-colored one at some point. Bruises are actually pools of blood under the skin resulting from broken blood vessels. The multi coloring is the result of cells and tissue restoring itself to its natural color.

When i was like 16 and my hickey was healing it was multi colored- i am so GLAD i am out of that stage!!
Put some cold rags on it and try not to irritate it!
That or cover it with makeup or a bandaid

yep, it goes by how much of your vain was broken open and how much blood flow's out of it determins what color the bruise will be. the more blood the more colorful the bruise and the length of time you have had it will make it more colorful too. if alot of blood in it it will start out darker and start turning lighter colors as it heals

Yes. I got hit in the thigh by a baseball once and it left this gigantic purple, blue, grey, and tan buise where it was hit. If you looked hard enough, it will look like President Bush's face (according to one of my friends).

Yes, after I had surgery, hubby had to give me shots of blood thinners in my stomach.....I was all different colors.
