A boycott is when a person or group avoids a product or service because they don't like something about the provider of the product or service. Unless the law requires them to use the product or service, it is perfectly legal not to use it.

Boycott is illegal when it is not in consonance with the law. If there is a valid issue and the means employed are legal, the boycott is legal.
