I don't want him to laugh at me. And if I tell him that I like him and he doesn't like me back, I don't think I could get over the feeling of rejection. And in that case it could ruin our friendship. He is one of the cutest guys in school. I am scared to confront him with that. Kids have started going out already and I would like to start too. He is sending me mixed messages. P.S. I am only in middle school. Please Help. Thanks in advance.

First off, let me just say that rejection is a fact of life. I've been rejected too many times to count. Eventually, we all move on and find someone else who really sparks an interest. My personal opinion is that you should just take chances and live life and stop caring so much about what other people think. I'm not saying you should just give up on this guy. I'm saying that you should let him know how you feel and just ask him out. If he says no and it ruins your friendship, then he doesn't deserve a girl like you. I asked one of my friends out a few weeks ago. He said no and it turns out he liked one of my other friends. They are going out now and I'm still friends with both of them. It may be awkward for a little while but things will return to normal in no time at all, trust me, I've been there and done that. Just take the chance and if it doesn't work out, then move on. You've got your whole life to worry about boys and all that jazz. Just live for today and if today doesn't work out, then you always have tomorrow.

Best Wishes and Good Luck!

I was in the same position as you a couple of months ago. What I did is I told him that " I have something I need to tell you that I have been wanting to tell you for a long time" I told him that I really liked him and that I don't expect anything back. I did get a response back but not the answer I was hoping for. I know it will be embarrassing to see him after you tell him how you feel, but at least he knows how he feels. Just know that their is other fish in the sea and remember that you are just in middle school so there is still time.

Sweety.... try to tell it to him as u still have achance to do it or u will regreting it as long as your life. Whatever, his answer will make you live in reality, not only with curiousity like now.
N remember rejection is not an ending of your life dear. If u get it, just be strong n find anyone else.
U deserve the better one...

Gud luck

I think that you should ask an other friend who is a boy to ask the guy if he likes you. If he does, then you should totaly go for it and ask him out, or if you feel uncomfortable doing that you should ask that same guy to tell him to ask you out.
I HOPE THIS HELPS!
