Why many people in the U.S. don't seem to care about paying their rent on time which caused them to be served.

..notice to vacate and to take back apartment from the management company?? Why don't they care about paying their rent on time so that they don't get served notice like that?? It seems to me that they know about the laws but they are still not following them or something...and why?? Are they that sick in their minds or what?? Is it true that many people here in the U.S., they have a terrible credit?? Why don't people care about these things like having a good credit and background?? It's like they don't care about breaking the laws. But if you break the law and it's a serious offense, you would go to jail. Some people don't even care about having to go to jail. What's wrong with their thinking and why they think like that??? Are they just so sick in their minds??

I dunno. Why will not a landlord fix/replace a water heater when he is sitting on half a million dollars of property?

I think maybe some of them do have a mental illness, especially the homeless. But, I personally think that we dont give learning how to handle money much of a prioritity. Maybe, there should be classes in shcool starting at an early age on how to manage money and how important it is. Most people just follow what they know and if their parents handled money a certain way then there is a good chance they will do the same. i dont think it is a matter of not caring but more of not knowig how.

Personal responsibility is not a trait people hold high on their list of priorities. The problem is the lack of consequences for those who abuse credit and refuse to live up to their promises.

Even when people commit the most serious crimes we under punish them. Our society is at the beginning of the downfall, I am glad I did not reproduce and subject me child to the future society that we are creating.
