missed chances why did i not jump her?

Question

a number of years ago i was working with this woman and she and i ended up gettting together a few times and making out .
she was married and had an affair before. she hinted that one of her children was not her husbands and that he knew that .
anyway long story short she was hot megga hot but when i had the chance to have sex with her i remained at this party we were at and continued to drink so i never got some.
i am certainly not gay . i cant stop thinking about her and its been years now . i feel if i had met her sooner i we would have been something . but part a why didnt i sleep with her. b why cant i stop thinking about her all this time . i dont know the answer so please help

From what you have said, you sound like a good person. I think you realised subconsciously that a woman like her is not someone who it is wise to begin a relationship with, and certainly not when she has already admitted to cheating and lying. The fact she was so willing to have an affair would indicate her basic untrustworthiness, and I think you probably deserve someone better- someone unattached, who is willing to take a chance on a relationship with you not a quick sexual encounter.

The reason you are still thinking of her, is because deep down we all regret missed opportunity. Perhaps she would have been great at sex, perhaps not, but the fact is you will never know, and subconsciously you would like to.

Nonethless feel proud of yourself. You didn't sleep with her, so you kept self respect on not cheating with a married woman

Sounds like you didn't have the self confidence to do it, you were hoping that she would be the one who led the way. But just think of it this way. She was married and already had an affair with someone else that you know of. Not having had sex with her may have saved you from getting some disease or getting mixed up in some insane situation. What you are actually fantasizing about is the fact that you actually had the courage enough to do her.

I think everyone experiences something similar to this, but you should let it go. I can tell you that the girl that I missed a chance with (although hot then) is not as hot as she used to be and surely if you met back up with the girl you're talking about you wouldn't find her so attractive anymore.

The reason you probably didn't "jump her" as you so eloquently put it, is that you knew it was wrong even though you still wish you had.

Dude I gotta say well done. Married, yah her hubby may have been the venge full type You never know, but you did the right thing. Any encounters or non encounters with a woman, leaves thoughts in our memories for an awfull long time.
I know how you feel, I came very very close to touching my wifes best friend once, Contact never happened, but it showed me just how easy a contact could take place, married or not.

She was married. End of story. What goes around certainly always comes around, and if she was sinister enough to stay in a marriage with children that didn't belong to her husband, chances are you wouldn't have fared any better. Accept the fantasy, because the reality of it would have been immensely more painful. Move on.
