Hi Georgie! Glad to hear your coming to the great state of New Hampshire to study at Keene State College. From what I know, it's a good school. I have many, many friends who attend there. My future brother-in-law just graduated from there this past summer and his girlfriend is currently going there.

Anyway, about the actual state, I was born and raised here in New Hampshire. I love it here and can't imagine not raising my own children here. I'd like to spend most of my life in the state, but I'd like to move to Florida for a while to possibly work for Walt Disney World (dream of mine). The weather and everything about the state is very pleasant in the summer and fall, but the winters are brutal (freezing and often stormy, snowy, and icy), and early spring is usually wet and very muddy. But it's a great state, and certainly one of the most beautiful areas in the country.

Hope I could help! Feel free to email me if you have any other questions.

New England is one of the most beautiful places in the world when the leaves change. Be prepared for some cold days in December, and if you enjoy skiing there is good skiing in New Hampshire and Vermont.
