Aluminum bats will add about 5 to 10 % more distance to your power. Of course you can only use wood in the majors because aluminum bats are too dangerous. For safety reasons aluminum bats should be outlawed before someone gets killed.

It depends on your swing and style of hitting. A more expensive bat is likley not to Die in less then a year, which trust me, is a perk. As for the length the ball will go with it, it depends on what kind of hitter your are. Regardless, if the ball hits the sweet spot, it doesnt matter which bat you have, just the swing you put on it.
For Instance:
Connextions and other "2 peice" bats of its type have a bunch of pop and a huge sweet spot. These bats will help you get more solid contact, more often, making the ball usually go further then if you hit with a bat with a smaller one. However, with such an awkward balance, it may be hard to have a power swing with a bat like this.
More traditional style bats, have the same idea as wooden bats. They are designed so that if you take the right swing on the ball, and hit it on the right part of the bat, you will absolutley crush it. However if you are a batter that is a slap hitter, or somene who gets jammed a lot, you wont often hit the sweet spot and this will not be the bat for you. This bat is excellent for you if you take a well timed cut and often hit the sweet spot of the bat.
So in essence, a more expensive bat will help you hit the ball further, but the bat its self wont make it go further.
hope this helps

Usually the more expensive the bat, the better it is going to be. You know that saying, "it's not the bat, it's the bat operator."NOT TRUE! more expensive bats are made with longer-lasting, more durable metal and are charged with better gases. So yes you will hit the maybe not much farther but it may be able to get you a couple more HR's.

Sometimes. Hitting a baseball all depends on the mechanics of your swing. Some people could have a $200 and still hit cruddy.
right now the best bat on the market is probably the exxo. its solid and has lots of pop. but, its really expensive. if your gunna get a new bat then get TPX. they are good bats, but they are also cheap. they will hit just as far as the other bats, but they're less expensive.
but again, it just all depends on your hitting mechanics.

It depends. I have a stealth and I've creamed the ball. But I also had a less expensive bat before and hit it about the same. It really depends on the weight and momentum of your swing (i duno, just some physical science stuff)

The Correct answer is NO "Ian B" is correct - cork does nothing but lighten the bat slightly and you could have accomplished the same thing by "cupping" the end of the bat. Dr Robert K Adair in his book "The Physics of Baseball" - Proves that a corked bat does not hit the ball as far.

yes, i have liquidmetal bats, it is one of the best bats and expensive out there. i am going to get the plasma, i know that liquidmetal 2 gives the ball 29% more of your power to make it go further. the plasma has an outer shell and makes the ball go further. all liquidmetal bats are made from harder materials so it would get any dents. my recommendation to baseball players is to get a liquidmetal bat.

Ya some do but then iv heard storys of kids buying $200~$300 bats and hitting with them one time and they already get huge dints so I guess its just the brand of the bat.

Generally, yes. If you want to get metal, the best are easton stealths, and louisville slugger exogrids. Some good cheaper ones are all the anderson bat company's bats. Also, rawlings plasma and liquid metal are good. Go to www.bplowestprices.com. It is the best baseball website ever.
