OK, this is easy, I having served in the Army have no problem answering this question. It is just the politically correct terms you used. lets change them to be more accurate.
Pro-Life will be known as Protectors of the Innocent unborn.
Pro-War will be known as Protectors of the Weak.
Ultimately they "assuming your asking about the current war in Iraq and Afghanistan", are similar in the desire to protect those that cannot protect themselves. The only difference is the age and maturity of the Protected entity.
Now lets take this one more step to see the other side.
Pro-Choice is really Pro-Abortion
Anti-War is really Pro-Terrorist
Now there will be a lot of knee jerk reactions here, everybody just calm down. Because history bears this out. Clinton anti-military anti-war did nothing about the terrorists his entire term. His opinion was that the police should try and arrest these thugs give them their rights, and put them on trial. and the Pro-Abortion side is against the banning of Partial Birth abortions (even though it is never medically necessary) they just like the ability to legally kill babys, so they are not that far removed from the terrorists killing "aborting" the lives of innocent people.
I tried to make this as simple as possible. Good Luck!

Nobody in their right mind wants to "go to war" in a civilized culture. You are referring, no doubt, to the U.S. and our current endeavers in the Middle East. We are "at war" there not because we want to be, but because we have been attacked continuously over the past 25 years by elements of Middle Eastern countries. President Bush finally said, "Enough!!" after 911. If we could be sure that attacks against us from that region would forever stop tomorrow, we would pull out the troops starting the day after tomorrow. So to answer your question with that clarification, I am pro-life (in defense of the unborn), and pro-war (in defense of freedom). Hope this clears things up for you. Have a nice day!

So-called "pro-lifers" were never really for Life. Fifty percent of all pregnancies end in spontaneous abortion, also called miscarriage. But, fifty percent of all those babies could be saved with proper prenatal care. The VERY same groups that forced the slashing of prenatal care budgets are the very same groups that say they are "pro-life". No, they are not for Life. RN

No one is completely "pro-war."
Sometimes it's necessary to go to war. It may not be "right", but unfortunately, it's not a perfect world; therefore our solutions sometimes have to be less than perfect.
Abortion is NOT necessary, unless the mother's life is at stake. We shouldn't need abortion. There are many different forms of contraceptives, and if all else fails, there's adoption.

I don't have to worry about it. I'm pro-life and against the Iraq war.
But in fairness, how can someone be in favour of abortion and claim to cherish life?
I'm a Liberal, but I depart with many other liberals over that conflict of values.

I guess the same way as one that is pro-choice and anti-war at the same time.
We are killing ppl that are evil, ppl that want to kill us and our way of life. The terrorists are the essence of evil. No one is "pro-war"!! Dont you remember 9-11?!?!? I am pro-defeating evil.
I am pro-life, a fetus is the essence of innocence. I feel that THAT must be protected.

OK.. . . The Bible does allow war for protecting one's peoples from murderers who'll kill them first .
The Bible does NOT say it's ok to kill innocent babies . And I'm referring to the New Testament . The New Testament was God's new covenant with man .

To the people who say the war is justified, or that the war is "killing evil people" as opposed to innocent unborn. You absolutely make me sick. It's so easy for you to say that, isn't it? You don't really have to experience war to the degree that the people in Iraq do. Tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians dead. How many people here have lost a wife or a small child as a result of this war? how about an elderly parent? NO ONE. It's not just "evil people" dying in this war. Would it be so easy for you to say this is a justified war if it was your family dying before your eyes? I doubt it.
Between 50,000-60,000 CIVILIANS dead in Iraq. That's blood on America's hands. And the same people who say it's worth it are the ones who are always talking about the 3000 who died in 9/11 like it's the f-ing biggest tragedy the world has ever seen.
Hope you enjoy your gas guzzling SUV *ssholes. Let's just keep on letting other people's children die for it. Oh, and don't forget to keep screaming about the injustice of all the precious little American fetuses.
