how about a sort of three fold brochure where you are sending it out as if you are a real estate owner [OK so they might not have been like we know them today but you have been given artistic license in doing this project]

So front cover shows an outline map of the area you have to cover.........with welcome to the sunny south ??? that sort of thing and then on each of the other 4 sides you cover weather, land rates and crops that can be grown [cotton etc] ease of buying the slaves...and then on the BACK page of the tri fold you can put in as a disclaimer the DOWN side of things.weather can be horrid, slaves not a good thing.........sort of end it where you state not responsible for any thing going wrong........

Not sure as to what age and how indepth you have been taught but maybe you can up grade the info to cover what you have been taught and KNOW you need to cover........

We keep our slaves in perfect health (heck, they're terribly expensive to replace) and they're perfectly happy. They sing in the fields, and they're vastly better off than they were in Africa, where to this day they're subject to starvation and war. You can see that on the news, every night. Compare them to our folks, and you'll have no problems with slavery.

With this source of cheerful, willing, inexpensive labor, we in the South can provide your family and your firm with a standard of living and a business climate that no other nation can come close to matching.

Don't you owe your family a house that's clean, and meals that are cooked to Southern perfection? Don't you owe your business investors the highest return on their investment, without concerns over Communist-inspired labor unions?

Are you at all concerned about what your neighbors might say about slavery? Don't be: it's perfectly legal, and Biblically-sanctioned.

what type of help specifically do you need? Farming and working in textiles was hard and to make it they needed labour so slaves were brought in to play. It was a hard and difficult time for lots of people.
