Firstly, I suggest, because men take more risks than women. I notice for example on the TV programme "Who Wants to be a Millionaire", when a man and a woman are in partnership it is nearly always the woman who wants to ask the audience or, when there are no lifelines left, to quit whereas the man wants to answer the question when he's 80-90% sure he knows the answer.
I believe this goes back to our evolutionary 2m years as hunter-gatherers. In order to catch prey, men sometimes had to take risks. By doing so, a few got killed or badly injured but they upped the hunting success rate enough for the strategy to be evolutionarily favourable. Whereas women had to be responsible for the kids whatever happened to their men, and success at gathering is about knowledge much more than risk-taking.
Secondly because men like to show off to their girlfriends. And girlfriends like to be shown off to by their guy.
Well, that's an aspect of the same risk-taking bias really.
Thirdly because girls are more sociable than boys. They look after each other better. Another woman is more likely to notice that a woman in her party is tipsy and intervene, and more likely to offer a her a lift home than a man is to offer one to another man in similar circumstances.

its this evil hormone called testosterone. Testosterone is responsible for inducing risky behaviors in males- things we see every day like drinking too much, smoking, speeding, fighting, unprotected sex. On average, you'll rarely see women do any of these things.
so, the direct cause effect relationship is that men drink more far frequently and more heavily than women- so by % they make up a lot more of the DDs out there.

Women drive them to drink.
It's a guy thing. Men are supposed to be more masculine and prove themselves. Guys just do dumb things. It is in our nature.
We do daring things, some are just plain stupid, but it is fun to us.
Lest we not prove our masculinity and become more feminine.

cause guys drink more that woman. they are these people who usually went home late and drunk. iu admit that im onew of them also but i dont usually do the same as they do
