when he is mature enough to take responsibility for his own actions....that varies person to person....

is he old enough to take responsibility for pregnancy? is he mature enough to use protection at the time..?

if this is a serious question then the above is my serious answer :)

its all in the maturity....im sure you son will be ready to go for it before he is completely emotionally mature however its for you to influence him in the right direction...

good luck!

There is no magic number or specific "deflowering age." Make sure to keep the lines of communication open or he will feel like he needs to hide things from you. He needs to be aware that his sexuality is not a dirty little thing and it is normal. Your job is to make sure he is aware of his options and when it is time to make that decision at least he will be informed (safe sex). Explain the benefits of waiting for marriage and all of that institutional crap.

I would say at least 16 but teach him to be safe and what he needs to know. Some at 16 are more mature mentally and phyically than others, only you can tell.

When ever he feels he is ready. Sometimes its 15 sometimes later it's all about how you feel on it and how fast he develops. Good luck
