I know it always has been, but now Jack's father is a terrorist? Don't get me wrong, I am a devoted 24 fan....but are they stretching the shock factor too far?

I don't think so, this season is no different from past seasons.
It may be more difficult for writers to keep coming up with original ideas, which may lead to them stretching things a little.

One thing that you need to keep in mind is that this is a TELEVISION SHOW!!

No matter how much it might mirror some of the things going on in the world this is a fictional show, it is to be used for entertainment value, just take it for what it is, A REALLY GREAT way to spend an hour once a week, watching someone else have a REALLY bad day.

I personally think that this show is better now than ever and I CAN'T WAIT until next week and the week after and so forth. Just keep everything in prospective and you will enjoy watching the show.

Jack Bauer RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope, 24 is the greatest show ever. Jack Bauer is the bomb. I love that they have the guts this year to actually deal with what is happening in our time. I hope it wakes some of these folks up these aren't "fictional" things. This can and probably will happen to us in this country before it's all said and done. Too bad that we don't have a "real life" Jack Bauer to save our asses when it really does happen.

I say no ONLY because this may tie in all six seasons together...starting from the very beginning. The dynamic between Jack and Phillip is great. And the possibility of Jack killing his own dad? Well...that's just priceless.

All shows gets crazy and dull after a time. You can't keep the storyline going forever.

The shock factor is why we watch that show. I wasn't expecting that, were you?

It's ridiculous. I heard it's the last season because the writers are having trouble...Which is obvious. They need to quit while they're ahead.
