I'm going to take it a step further and say that if the bride didn't give you the flowers to wear, don't do it. As a recent bride, I had all my colors picked out and had different flowers for different roles (ie. bridesmaids vs. mothers vs. grandmothers, etc). If someone wore a corsage, people would assume that you are part of the wedding party/important family. Don't give the bride anything extra to stress out about! :)

Not at all!!! it just shows you have your own sense of style. you probably aren't the first woman to wear a corsage to a wedding anyway.

unless you are IN the wedding party....or an older maternal relative (grandmother etc) it is classless, selfish and tacky to wear a corsage....they day is about the bride and groom NOT you so the truly tasteful thing is to NOT call attention to yourself
