should the society let the women be money making machines?

wouldnt that lead to the down fall of humans? plus it violated the principal of experimenting on human bodies witch is considered as immoral by most of the religions!

I would disagree with growing embryos in a lab specifically to kill them for research because yes I would consider that murder.
But if when women get an abortion, they could tick a box saying they agree for the embryo to be donated for stem cell research, that would be okay. I wouldn't see that as being any different to when people are asked permission to donate the organs of a family member who has died.
They do still need to research adult stem cells though just in case there are differences between the two kinds that haven't been found yet. Especially since if cures for a lot of diseases are found they would need a lot of stem cells for treatment and you could only get that many from adults. It'd be great if we could all have some of our stem cells stored, ready to cure us when we get some disease.

PRO.................
The only people really being killed are the ones who have to suffer everyday, one day longer than necessary while they wait for cures that are delayed by people that don't get the reality of the truth, and the fact that NOTHING is being killed to use the embryonic stem cells, they are not even implanted at this point. If they don't get used for this purpose many people will just have them destroyed when they are done with them so why should they go to waste because of closed minded individuals that try to tout it as murder when they don't know what they are talking about. They can refused the treatments that this research provides if their time comes, but let the best available treatments be created for the rest of us. You WILL NOT decide if I live or die.

There should be no laws preventing the private funding of stem cell research, and currently there is none.

There should be no gvmt money going to fund research as it is offensive to spend other peoples money on something they find to be immoral.

If individuals think that stem cell research will bring great medicines to the market, then they should fund the research and make money from the risk they take if new wonder drugs are created.

Public funding is nothing more than corporate welfare.

Ummm, Bush grow to be quite the first president to allow funding for stem cellular study, in any respect. The seize is that federal funds can in hardship-free words be used on stem cellular lines that were already wide-spread. So, to say he would not fund it, is faulty. He is likewise attempting to attraction to a tremendous base of people via restricting what the funding is used for....it truly is politics. Abortion is a very diverse subject, you may not evaluate apples and oranges. And as far as inner most organizations studying issues---they should be allowed to do what they decide on and the authorities ought to not intervene, it really is pronounced as a loose market, and a loose society. the authorities ought to keep on with preserving the borders possibility-free and protecing us from terrorists, not bothering with what inner most organizations are doing. Do you already know the potetial that stem cellular reserach can grant? Any corporation that spends tens of millions of money on the study and progression should be allowed to recoup its funding. it really is how a loose market works. the shown reality that there is competition contained in the market makes it so organizations will do study and strengthen existence saving drugs. If the authorities were to direct and administration each thing, not something ought to get finished.

Look, the same stem cells that you get from an embryo you can get from the embryonic fluid in the womb, which can be saved after childbirth.
why would you kill a baby when you can get the same result by having it be born?
so yes, embryonic stem cell research is wrong.

There's no longer a need for it. They can get the stem cells from the umbilical cord. It came out in the news a few weeks ago.

yes, i personally support stem cell research. I am pretty sure that doctors use stem cells from the baby's placenta, which is usually thrown out anyway. So i don't really see a problem

I think they should do it, you know how many lives it will save. And its not killing someone or taking a life, for its not a baby, its not even born, whats abortion then? It would be the same thing and abortion is legal, I think its stupid that there is people against it when it would save so many lives.
