Right click on my computer and select manage.... in the window that opens up select services and application.... in the drop down menu select services...... on the right hand side in the big menu, you will find print spooler.... click once on it and on the let you will see options of stop, start and restart this service..... click on start and you should be ready to use the printing service again..... cheers

The printspooler service has dependency RPC and/or LexDev. Ensure they are enabled as well.

settings control pannel services ......start print spool service.......
