Dude Kobe is the Best of the Best in the NBA right now.
Everybody keeps thinking Lebron James and Steve Nash is the best
but they are NOTHING without their teammates. The Pheonix Suns have like the best team in the NBA, every player is strong: Marion, Bell, Barbosa, etc. What about Lebron you say? lebron has a poor shooting percentage, and he does not have uber pressure shots.
What about Nowitzki? Also, he is nothing without Howard, Harris, Terry, and others. But Kobe, he has only Odom.

Also, his shooting percentage is high, he averages more assists per game now, less shooting for him and around 6 points less than last year.

Did anyone see the Atlanta vs Laker game?
Kobe hit 4 consecutive shots. First shot He was 1 on 1 with Joe Johnson- he goes to the free throw line, do a head-fake, and a hard fadeaway. it swished.
Second shot, 2 guys guarded him and trapped him at a corner. It was like he didnt see him, and just fadeaway a 20 footer and swished.

Kobe is the most amazing player i ever seen

and who is that person who keep putting bad ratings when we say Kobe is the best and good for Kobe is the worst?

Well, he is the best

Right now yeah he's the best player in the NBA i dont care what anyone says. Last year KB was selfish and the lakers werent as good as they could be. Some of the young players are getting the hang of the Triangle Offense and KB is passing the ball more often which is making the lakers a dangerous team out there. When we get a true point guard (no offense to Smush, hes good but we need a better point guard) when Mihm and Brown come back, when Bynum learns how to use his body better, man the Lakers will bring like 3 championships to L.A. GO LAKERS!!

no...sorry but he wouldn't have scored 81 if gary "the glove" peyton was gaurding him. just making a statement because i've seen way too many games where guys don't play "D"...seriously and another thing his shooting percentage is like .47...comparing him to nash who has a .53 fgp...oh yeah nash the other night 23 points, 15 assists and 0 that's right ZERO turnovers. not hating on kobe, he is in the top 10 in NBA effenciency (right now #6) so he does get the job done, but "the best"...i can't give him that.

who i'd lean towards would be dwayne wade who is #2 in effenciency.

I were given to flow with a healthy Tracy McGrady. Paul Pierce is tremendous too and frequently forgotten yet no you'll have their will on the court like Kobe, Lebron, Tracy and also Dwayne. they are the all round gamers.

He is without a doubt one of the best. It hard to overlook all of the talent in the NBA though. Arenas, LeBron, D-Wade, Duncan, Garnett, Shaq (yeah, he is stil very dominant), a healthy Pierce, T-Mac, Dwight Howard, Bosh, etc. etc. He is top 5.

Yes, he is "da" best player in NBA. His game is just on another super natural level, right now. Add to that the fact that he has actually learned recently to trust his team mates and pass the rock, he has become virtually unstoppable.

He has the greatest overall talent in the NBA going both ways (offense/defense) in one package.

THe problem is when he choses to implement it. Some days he'll play great defense same days he won't.

Some days he'll play great offense (passing/shooting) some days he won't.

But there is no player with the cut throat instinct that he has in the game right now.

Also i'm not a laker's fan, i just respect the man's skills.

As much as I dislike Kobe, I believe he is the best player in the NBA.

He is definently up there. He made amazing feats (80 points nd all). You can have a safe argument saying he is the best but then he will have to compete against Garnett and James. He probably is though.
