Its kind of strange because she always been a really good baby and she is at daycare everyday and they say she never throws tantrums there. My parents also report the sem thing when they keep her.

any more than 10 hours of separation from mom a week is devastating to children under 3.

My 14 month old has started to do almost the same thing. He doesn't cry but he screams and he has never done it before. He has always liked playing by himself with his toys, especially with cars, and now if the cars roll away from him he sits and screams instead of going after it like he usually does.

In other words, I'm also interested in why it could be happening.

My 24 month old daughter started doing the same thing at the same age. No one else has any trouble with her, only us at home. My daughter is in daycare too, and I think it's just their way of getting our full attention while we're at home.
