I'm sort of in a long-distance relationship with a girl and want to send her a card and gift token through the post for Valentine's day. Thing is I don't know her house number and if I was to just ask she would know that I was planning on sending her something. I don't know her friends so can't ask them. So I'm just looking for ideas of what to say so that I can find out without her suspecting anything!
Best Answer will be what I end up saying!

Edit - I appreciate the answers given to help so far.
Re: Answer #1 - I said I don't know her friends.
To the gent who answered second - she's a girl I met on holiday last year and have visited twice since. I'm not looking for hostile remarks like yours.

I don't think looking up white pages or dialling any numbers will work as we are both in the UK. I just need more suggestions of what to say such as Answer #4

More answers like Answer #7 would be great, I gave you a thumbs up for giving several suggestions. I'll reply to them:
-Getting her to send a letter will take too long.
-I don't know her family.
-I don't want her to keep asking about the person supposedly moving to/living in her area!!
Cheers though!

If you know her last name do a search for her name and see what address pop up. You can also look at your local auditors website and track her through the property tax info of her parents with only a last name.

With all the technology out there these days the best way is to use the internet. Do you have her phone number, name of the city and state she lives in?
Try Yellowbook.com you can key in the phone number and it will give the address. or you can click on people and put her name, city, state and zip (if the address is in her name) if it is in her parents put there name...
P.S. So she lives in the U.K?
Alright Mr. UK...I also have a friend that lives in the UK...I enter yahoo address search/uk keywords in my search display and it brought up a uk and ireland page to search for people in the UK...try that...
Question- how long have ya'll been seeing each other...and why hasn't she gave you her address?

Can you send it to her work or school instead? That may be easier.
Tell her you read this thing on the internet that said "Your house number says a lot about your personality" then ask her, her house number and make up some nonsense about the number she gives you. Make it flattering like your number says "you are kind and loving. Your friends would describe you as ______. "
If she asks what site just say you can't remember.

try to look her up. Yahoo has a great white pages you can probably find her address there. Otherwise tell her your're doing some silly number test that you got in an e-mail. Something like add your house numbers up and if it's even that means you're sould mates or something like that. I've gotten those kind of e-mails before, it's cheesy but it could work good luck

You might call her and tell her you are updating your personal address book and you realized you don't have her address.
Or you could tell her you are joining a club and they are asking for a personal reference. Then ask her if she minds you using her and of course you would need her address, so that they could send a form for her to fill out and return to them. Or your looking for a part time Job and the application you received is asking for a personal reference. Same information needed to join a club.
I can't think of anything else, hope this helps.

talk about music, sports, clubs, activities, work and anything else you two might have in common, if you find out you both like bowling, start with that. you could just ask questions like, "have you ever ridden a horse?" if you like riding "what sports do you play?" to find one (or more) in common that you can discuss in depth "where do you work?" (if applicable, if not something about where do you want to work or what's your favorite subject / class etc.) "who is your favorite singer / band?" to find similarities. You get the idea? just talk to her and Pay Attention so you can come up with some fun thing that both of you would like to do and go for it! Best of Luck to you!

If you have her phone number (not cell number) you can dial 1411. The automated machine will give you some options and you enter the phone number and it will give you an address for the phone number.

you can say you found a picture of you two together...and blah blah blah..in blah blah (if the possibility of that exist) and then she would be like: oh really? can I have it? and then you say yeah, what's your address...
ok that may have been stupid...
she's gonna find out.... no matter how you ask that question, unless if she's dumb.
if she's in the us... you can search her name and address on
www.zabasearch.com
Its sort of like stalking... but oh well, as long as you mean well....
if she lives with her parents try searching under their name....
good luck.
