Manchester United is the team that has won the Premierships the most number of times. There have been a total of fourteen seasons since the start of the premiership and ManU has won eight.
The premiership has been up and running since 1992. Even though there are twenty clubs that compete for the much coveted title, it has been won over the years, amazingly, by just four teams: Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers.
The current champions of the Premiership are Chelsea having a streak of two of the most recent seasons.
The Premiership is actually the FA Premier League, which in the UK is more commonly known as Barclays Premiership or just the Premiership

Man U In 1992/1993 season, prior to that top level football was played in the 1st division. The football league began in 1888 and during the first season was won by Preston North End. Not bad for a girl hey!!!

The first winner of the todays formed Premiership was Leeds United in 1989/1990 i think or mabey it was 1990/91 season.
