My boyfriend just got out of prison 11/11/06 an On 02/02/07 he was arrested for a parole violation. I went to see his Parole officer yesterday and he violated him because he was never able to verify his home add as that being where he lives. Heres the problem, the parole off went a couple times to the house in the morning/afternoon and those times my boyfriend happened to be at work or he happened to be with me at my house. He told his parole officer when he talk to him and told him he wasnt there when he went because he was at work, and told him that he didnt know he was coming or he would have home and his parole officer was told this info from the first time he showed up and my bf wasnt home, and my bf told him to either come by before 6 am or after 6pm or he can let him know when he is going to be there so he can let his boss know and he can get another tech for the job. what can he do to get this cleared up, the p.o. is being a jerk cant I write the parole board or something?

I know this is a hard situation for you. A parole officer can come to his place of residence at any time of the day or night without your boyfriends knowledge. Was one of the stipulations to be at work or home only? If it was then yes he was in violation while at your home. Po's will usually work with people. They will not if the parolee is dishonest in any way. Why could his address not be verified if in fact he does reside there at that address? Is living there a violation as well? Maybe there is something your boyfriend has not been honest with you about. Or there are things he chose not to tell you. Either way you are the one upset. And he knew what would happen once he did violate parole. I am sorry that you had to find out the way you did. That wasn't fair to you and makes me feel like he used you. Just an honest opinion. And no offense intended. This is something I do know about with family unfortunately.

Tell him to get a parole hearing they do this inside the jail he is in and to put you down as a witness so you can testify get as many paycheck stubs that he was working and get a letter from his boss to prove he was at work if you can remember the dates the parole went to his house you should win the case

Your bf needs to get his boss to verify his time at work. If he gets out of this one. Your bf needs to satisfy his Parole Officer no matter what. Your bf should be more careful about his freedom.
