injuries to key players is the reason to the celtic woes...many games in their losing streak were not blowouts....it will always be tough to win with such a young and experienced lineup.....in the end i think the stupid moves of ainge are the reason for the current collapse...passing on roy for telfair was a big mistake...passing on marcus williams for rajon rondo is a bigger mistake...passing on the chance to make a deal for allen iverson was the biggest mistake...auerbach had a knack of picking gems with trades and drafts....ainge seems to be going the opposite direction....many are saying the celtics are tanking in order to get the most number of ping pong balls in the upcoming draft...in order to tank one must have the ability to win...with bad management and even worse coaching it just becomes a convenient excuse for the once mighty celtics

I certainly HOPE not! I'm shaking my head as to what's going on! I'm 31 now, and I've been a Celtics fan since I was 8 years old! I live in Detroit, so I get made fun of at times b/c I proudly display my Celtics gear.

But I say hang in there. Eventually, the Celts will have a return to prominence the likes of which will never be seen in sports history.

GO CELTICS!!!

the chances that they win are extremely small. They don't have an adequate defender to stop shaq at this moment.

Shaq in the previous game nearly went 100%, and i dont see him shooting any less than 60% from FG tonight. The only way they can stop him is by forcing him to shoot freethrows.

Also they'll have a hard time containing dwayne wade.

Their best chance is to try and outscore the heat in a scoring contest because if it gets close in the final moments, Wade will get the benefit of the call

As of right now they are winning 18-11, but if they continue to play in the fourth quarter how they have been lately look for a choke. I am a huge celtics fan as well and i just want them to win one to show they can win without Pierce.

Probably this game but they have a bigger chance against NJ. Every team has a chance because the other team may come in underestimating the other and have a poor shooting night or defensive night. Keep your hope strong that's what real fans do.

yea if they lost 16 times, they're bound to lose 17 times, unless they are up against a team that lost more than that
