The motherboard currently in your system is an Asus P4GV-LA, which is a micro-ATX form factor motherboard. Any motherboard also of that form factor should fit into your HP case just fine.

Although your motherboard currently has a Celeron processor in it, the socket 478 type is compatible with many Pentium 4s, including early Extreme Editions. These would provide a significant performance gain with your new hardware without the need (yet, at least) to swap your motherboard.

A custom construct personal computer is extra versatile and also a lot less complicated to improve in a lengthy time period, commonly via factors that are used at the instantaneous are not proprietary (which includes the casing, potential provide and motherboard). The warranties in the back of custom builds relies upon on the business enterprise that equipped it (e.g CyberPower promises a million or 2 three hundred and sixty 5 days warranties) yet when you're construction it your self, you'll purely get factors assure. If the pc breaks down and it became self-equipped, you'll prefer to deliver back the area that became damaged back to the seller for an RMA or change. That reported, the superb position to get a custom equipped made is CyberPower the superb position to get factors (to construct your own pc or to improve) is both Newegg or TigerDirect. Amazon is likewise yet another determination. eBay is typically an option yet you should word that eBay isn't one hundred% straightforward.
