The results of the American Revolution were the separation of the 13 colonies from Britian and the formation of thse colonies into the United States of America. The fact that the colonists achieved that encouraged French revolutionaries in their own repudiation of monarchy. Creating the 'new' form of government took a lot of heated debate and involved some of the finest thinkers of the 19th and 19th centuries, among them Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton and John Adams.
