Ok heres the deal. My friend is going to compete in the eastern state equine compatition and I already told her I would be her groom, but then I found out aobut teen leader which actually goes to the compatition. I dont wanna be rude and quit on her, but I really want to be team lead so I can actually get some experience casue im hoping to ocmpete next year

oh my god....
lol I mean groom as in helping her with her horse and helping groom...
Not as in getting married

And I want to compete next year, and not be a teen leader

teen leaders dont meet, they go to the compatition as support for the riders

well here's the deal.i would go and be the groom because you can also try out for teen leader next year, but people only get married once. so i personally would go to the wedding.but this could end your relationship if you don't do this right so talk it out with her,and ask the teen leaders people if you can come back next year.if she's your friend she might just get someone else but if she can't then it's up to you to keep your promise to her.she might just let you off the hook,maybe not,if she doesn't then respect her wishs and just go to the wedding.you might be able to rescedule the meeting with the teen leaders for another day, if so then do that so your friendwill still be your fiend.

please e-mail me why and how this little problem was solved, i would like to know in case sometime like this cames alone like this in my life.

I think that you should be honest with your friend, and find out how she feels about it. If she is truly a good friend, she probably does not want you to miss out on an opportunity yourself. If you approach her with the situation, you can probably come up with a solution that would benefit both of you, such as finding someone else to help her.
