how would you do an online lie detector?
There's supposedly one being tested in the Japanese government, but you would need to hook up all kinds of machinery to your body for that!
so the answer is no

a lie detector is usually used to check the stress in your voice, your blood pressure and your heartrate when you are asked a question. they usually ask a line of questions to form a base line when you're telling the truth "are you ____, is your birthday in ______, then one of them they'll tell you to lie on. so they can tell how well you "handle" lying. As far as online lie detectors there would have to be a way to at least messure the stress in the persons voice.

no, there are techniques that the fbi and law enforcement use, they are simple so you could do it but its to in depth to go into here. Just do a search for lie detection. I used to have a couple links, but my last computer fried out an I lost them.
