175-180 is xlnt. 200 + in stop and go ,if you exceed 220 be worried. These are oil temps not metal temps.

My Heritage runs at about 190-200 at highway speeds, and in light traffic it runs up to about 220. I wouldn't really worry unless it gets above 230; at 250 you'd better pull over and shut down.
