A metrosexual is a guy who takes extremely good care of himself hygenically but is heterosexual.
A transvestite is a man who likes to dress like a woman and may be in the process of getting womanly parts.

I'm not sure what a metrosexual is, but I know that a transvestite is a guy who likes to wear womens clothes

A transvestite is more than a person who crossdresses. As a matter of fact they dont even have to crossdress at all. A transvestite simply means a person has the brain mentally of the opposite sex, along with all of the habits and interests associated with the opposite gender. They are physiologically opposite of what they feel on the inside.
A metrosexual is a straight male who does characteristically "gay" or "feminine". An example is a male who is straight and gets his nails done because it is cleaner and looks nicer than dirty nails. Or a male who gets massages or pedicures or enjoys shopping for clothes. As far as clothes go, he would tend to dress more on the flashier color coordinated side. Nicer collared shirts and nice shoes. things that are stereotypically gay or feminine.

A transvestite is someone who is not pleased with their current gender and decides to change it.. also know as a transsexual or transgender. A metrosexual is usually a male that is very in touch with their feminine side and tends to care for their physical appearance more than usual. Often gets pedicures, manicures and facials. I like metrosexual men but some can overdo it. Boys, just be happy with yourselves.
