Alcohol. Anything else may leave a deposit or damage the plastic. Apply the alcohol to a cloth rather than dirrectly on the plastic. This will avoid it pooling up and running into the circuitry below.
I'd say don't eat at your computer in the future but really liquids are a bigger concern.

Take it to the pressure washer aas in most garages. Squirt a reasonable amount of fairy liquid or such onth e pad and then blast it for a good 50p coin length with the pressure washer.. Should get the chip fat off.

Put a bit of rubbing alcohol on a cloth and wipe the thing down. Rubbing alcohol is wet, but it evaporates nicely and is, in general, safe for cleaning dining residue out of electronics. Don't use nail-polish remover or other solvents: 70% isopropyl alcohol works quite nicely, and costs about a buck for a pint. Don't drink it.

I used to have those little mini plastic tongs, i wager they'd be observed as. i'd %. up the chip with that and so my palms not in any respect touched the chip. Or shop a humid textile next on your pc and wipe your palms off earlier you contact your keyboard. I hate this delema! although that's solvable!
