When you hear the word homicide ... what do you think about ... it might be a question that you are wondering ... one word or a few words ... please let me know!

I think of someone having been the cause of death of another person or persons -- accidental or otherwise.

Homicide is an umbrella (and legal) term for all of the following examples: involuntary manslaughter, manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter, gross vehicular manslaughter, murder two, murder one, murder one with special circumstances. (There's probably more to this list).

As to what the word evokes......."Law & Order"!
