why do u think people hurt animals?Is it because their angery or something ?I think an animal is just like a human!Dont it make u SICK!Seeing all those animals mistreated for No reason No animal deservies to be mistreated !Thats why we should protest!Iams pet food kills inocent animals !Its horible!And SICK!!!

I've never heard about Iams mistreating animals.
I do think it is wrong to mistreat animals, but people need to be careful about what they call mistreatment.
When a person doesn't feed their animal properly, when they hit their animal out of malice, when they poison it, or when they don't clean their pen out properly. That is mistreatment.
Be careful about calling mistreatment, penning an animal upeuthenasia, or giving it shots, etc. Some of that has to be done for the good of the animal.
Some people that have never grown up around animals get grand ideas about how animals should be treated, fed, or allowed to run loose. People that have grown up around them all of their lives and raise them for a living know better and know the consequence doing certain actions like that can cause.
Turning animals loose can make them prey to predators or get sick due to the weather. Or it can allow them to wreak havok on other animals by killing other animals. Feeding certain animals things most people would think are good for them really aren't. Like rabbits for instance, a lot of the general public thinks they need carrots, lettuce, and vegetables. When those can give a rabbit diahrrea, make it shed more, and gain fat. Or many people think they should give a rabbit a bath, when that can give them pneumonia and kill them. Or they think the rabbit will be more happy by putting it in with another rabbit for companionship. Then the other rabbit chews fur off it or bites it or chews off its tail or chases it around the pen till it runs into the side of the cage and breaks its spinal chord and dies.
Yes, good intentioned but uninformed/ignorant actions can also be considered mistreatment.
So if you ever get mad at a farmer for something he does. Ask him why he does that and you might be surprised that he does it for the good of the animal. I mean it is there livelihood after all. And wouldn't you want to treat your animals that make up your income as good as you can?

I agree with you! I would never buy IAMS products after seeing the horrific abuse on line. I can't imagine going to a job at IAMS and actually doing those horrible things to puppies and innocent animals. They do not deserve it and the people that conduct the experiments should have the same things done to them.
People that abuse animals need psychiatric help-It isn't normal that they hurt helpless animals, and those people need to be brought to justice in the harshest way!!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely hate it and I am an active member of several animal rights groups. We need more people to be the voice of the innocent and helpless animals who do not have a voice. Too many humans think that the planet and everything on it was put here for them to exploit torture and destroy. It takes a sick immoral, weak and spineless person to hurt an animal. Absolutely disgusting.

It makes me sick too. I have seen people hit animals and the poor thing cowers in the corner. I used to cry as a child when i saw this happening. I still don't get it and I try and keep myself out of situations where I would see it. Or the people who keep their poor animals out in FREEZING cold weather and the poor thing shakes. I just do not get it at all.

Abuse begets abuse. People who are abused have a tendency to abuse animals (weaker than them so they can feel powerful too).
Some people are just plain a$$holes with little disregard for living things.
A lot of pet owners out there need licenses to have the privilege of owning another living animal.

i strongly agree if you know of any ways to protest against animal abuse let me know, i donate to any organization that helps animals but i wish there was so much more i could do, i think i will be your biggest animal lover responding, i hate animal abusers, i know hate is a strong word but i mean it
