Well, everyone who answers this question will probably be NOT dead (I HOPE, right?), so the point is rather moot...
I mean, is it really our place to speculate on what happens after death, being still alive?

well, since none of the dead reported we don't know. But u knw what our teacher once told us when a classmate died in a car accident that he can feel us but cannot watch us. He hears and feels us whenever he or she is talked about.
when we die we turn to dust because the parasites of the earth eat the body. the souls transcend to the sky waiting to be judged on judgement day. This i've been told by Men of Knowledge.
when we are judged we are judged by what we did on Earth.
if u wanna know more go back to the Holy Books and see what they say about death. sure you'll find useful information about that.
good luck

Don't ever laugh as the hearse goes by for you may be the next to die. They cover you with a big white sheet from your head down to your feet. They put you in a big black box and cover you up with dirt and rocks. All goes well for about a week and then your coffin begins to leak. The works crawl in the worms crawl out the worms play pinnacle on your snout. A big green worm with rolling eyes crawls in your stomach and out your eyes. Your stomach turns a slimy green and puss pours out like whipping cream. You spread it on a slice of bread and that's what you eat when your dead.

The only thing definite is what happens to the body: blood temperature lowers, body fluids are excreted, the cells start to die out and the whole thing starts to decay. What happens to the rest of the "person" is a subject of debate.

I consider life as a big amusement park.
Some get to ride roller-coasters, while others are in the fun-house and others are in the Chamber of Horrors and some simply sit on the merry go round.
Sooner or later, you have to let somebody else ride, so you die.
Then you get back in line and go on another ride.

Read Tibetan Book of Living and Dying by Sogyal Rinpoche. It has all the answers and answered everything I ever wanted to know about death and what happens after it. It's a life changing book, Ioved it.

I think that you stop breathing and also your hearth stops beating, which means that everything is over. You start your life again as to plants nutrient which is a way of being alive.
But don't worry about death, just enjoy now that you're alive...

No one knows!
I think that God takes you up to heaven, where you look down on Earth yet simply enjoy yourself up above!!

why waste your time worrying about that, you will find out soon enough. and besides you can't get out of dying no matter what., so enjoy life, not using it as practise for being dead
