i love tie up shoes that tie around your legs and ankles but i have a hard time keeping them to stay on my legs do anyone know the secret to keeping them up on my legs?

hairspray or double stick tape if you're brave

my friend had shoes like those for homecoming sophmore year. she used hairspray to keep the ties in place. she just sprayed it on her leg and then put the string down, it worked but i think her legs might have been a little sticky.
