wrap your finger nails in tape chew lots of gum just basically keep your hands busy also get one of those tension balls and use it everytime you feel nerves it helped me gl2u

I've always been a nail biter. It comes and goes, but I do stop sometimes. I just paint them and then I don't bite them as long as there's polish on them. Even if it's clear. But if you bite them when you're bored or stressed like I do, there's really no way to stop. Even famous people can't stop their bad habits and they're in the spotlight! Brittney Spears admits that she actually bites her toenails!!!!!! DISGUSTING!

I had to do that once! It took me a long time, but i stopped at last. I have beautiful nails now. The secre is to paint them. Painted nails taste really bad! Trust me, I've tried it before. Ewww! After a while, you'll stop.

They sell a special clear nail polish that you can put on your nails that tastes bad so you don't bite them. It is for sale in any Walgreens or Eckerds.

forgive the people who hurt you as a child!
they say that 9-10 people bite there nails because of excess baggage from childhood! no matter what happened YOU where just a kid and know that people in general suck somewhat.

i use nail polish but ur a guy so im srry unless u want to put nail polish on i would have to say dip ur fingers in nail polish remover.... that tastes nasty!!! lol

I should yell at you like my big brother did to me when I was real young...lol But it probably wouldn't work since you don't know me and respect me like I do my big brother! Well, we were only kids back then, but one day he said to me, quit doing that! There's no telling what's under your fingernails! That's nasty!
And for some reason, well besides respecting my brother, I did quit right then! So quit that! hehe

dip ur fingers with a cleaning product or put tape all over ur finger tips(worked for me).
