Chicago.

Forget LA, it's "environmentally" polluted there with smog.

Which city is most capable of offering the most security should be the primary concern, in view of how things are today.

Having said that, it seems to be LA has plenty of big events for itself. Maybe Chicago could use something nice (and for its economy). Besides - for Americans who'd like to go, Chicago is in the middle.]

Of course, there is also the consideration that the world would be watching; and IF LA could make a better impression that Chicago; then maybe the nation's image must be considered. (Not saying Chicago can't make a good impression; just saying IF it less capable of doing that than LA that's a consideration.)

Los Angeles because we have done it before and we rocked it both times. Also, my mum worked for the Olympics when they were in LA in the '80's and I would want to do it as well.
