What happened to all the great music of the 80's and 90's....this new decade has it's moments, but it doesn't come close to the old love songs....For example, "From This Moment On", "I Swear", "Because You Loved Me", "My Heart Will Go On", "Without You", "Unbreak My Heart", "I Will Always LoveYou", "Breathe", "You're Still The One"....And So many Others by Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston especially. Where's the love songs?
And don't get me wrong I love R&B and some hip hop but look at the music charts....hits today would amount to nothings then.....Example: biggest albums of the 90's Celine dion sold 2 albums over 10 million copies in the us only! Same with the other big artists, a top album wasn't a top album unless it hit 5-8 million copies, the new "top albums" are around 2-3 million copies.....Where's the love?

First of all, Celeine Dion doesn't deserve any credit any fame or money or anything because she doesn't do a damn thing on her albums except sing. Whoopdi doo anybody can do that. Second of all She doesn't deserve them because her albums and songs are really bad. Ask any music critic and they will tell you that her songs are horrible. But I do agree that music has hit a slump. Albums sales are down and top albums aren't selling as much as they did in the 90's. I think we are going to have another nirvana very soon and everything will change for the good again. I guess it's just a recurring cycle.
