I am doing a thesis paper and want to quote different websites in the paper. Some websites do not have an author so it makes it difficult.

With an unknown author found online you would write:

Unknown. (italicize:) Title of Work. Year of Publication. Retrieved from the World Wide Web February 7, 2007. Web link here.

Example:

Unknown. How to Write APA Format (this part is italicized). 2007. Retrieved from the World Widew Web February 7, 2007. www.apaformat.com

The first line has no indentation, however the second, third and any preceding have 5 spaces. Hope this makes sense and I hope it helps!

I also like the Purdue college website, as well because the Diana Hacker information superhighway website. be certain to introduce your quote by some potential, with some type of word or sentence. attempt now to not in basic terms drop it on the start devoid of a context for the reader.

Go to google and look up "Son of a Citation Machine". Choose your style and enter whatever you have into the boxes and it will make the proper citation for you! I love this for my college papers!
