hi there,
i have bred guinea pigs and i have no trouble with the females giving birth but i would separate the male, from her , she wont look like she is having babies until about 6 to 7 weeks into the pregnancy, she will give birth on her own , when you clean out her bed you will find at the end of 9 weeks you will have maybe2,3 or 4 little bubs and they are born with their eyes open and eat on their own about 2 to 3 days old, mum will look after them, but keep the cage clean and make sure she has a dark spot in her cage so she can go into ok . enjoy these beautiful little animals, and keep her away from the males as she can get pregnant after she gives birth, so take the male out now ok i hope this helps you

How old is the female? If she is over 6 months you will probably need a c section, the females pelvis fuses togethor around that age, and it makes it very hard to have a natural birth. If this just happened, you may want to consider having her spayed.

I recommend taking her to a vet to have her checked. If she is Older that 7 months old she will most likely need a C-Section,if you don't the babies will most likely die,and maybe even the mother!
