Is there a fun way to teach transitive and intransitive verbs?

My class thinks its all boring I need a way to help them learn and have fun. Is there somthing like Jeoperty out there that I could use to liven up my class? Please help I need ideals

You can get a sentence board at a teacher store. Write questions on index cards and create your own jeopardy board. The kids have a lot of fun with it.

Write I and T on the board. Divide the class into 2 teams. One person from each team comes up with a flyswatter. Read a sentence. They will hit I or T to tell if it is transitive or intransitive.

Put them into small groups. Have them cut out some pictures from magazines and glue them to paper. Write a sentence about each picture and then tell which kind of verb they used... or have them write 2 sentences about each picutre; using one type of verb in each sentence.

Depending on their age and maturity, have them draw a picture of themselves meeting someone famous and shaking hands.

Joe met Peyton Manning
Mary met Oprah Winfrey.

You can teach the concept of the verb having an object,intigrate art for those kinestetic and visual learners and imagine the in-sight you will gain, seeing who some of your students choose to meet.
